His books are different from the movies, be prepared for an even better experience. It is written from a young boy's perspective.
The witches of England are having their annual meeting with The Grand High Witch at the same hotel where a young boy and his Grandmamma are staying. Luckily, Grandmamma grew up in Norway where they know all about witches. Having spent the few years of his life hearing Grandmamma telling him all about witches, he knew what to expect.
This is an amazingly well written book, by an amazing author. You will NOT be disappointed if you decide to read it. Beware though, you may end up trying to read everything Roald Dahl has written!! Books for People with Print Disabilities.
