For the past 2 weeks, all my torrents show stalled, even when I choose torrents with over 50, seeds and less than 10, leeches. I tried to dl the same files from my work pc, and had no problem whatsoever.
I just upgraded from the previous version to 3. Every single torrent is stalled forever. I tried choosing an interface, but to no end, I still get the same error. Please help. The only issue is that it will not dl anything. It's been a couple weeks now, and Iv'e had to resort to dling at work.
I tried utorrent, with the same result as with qbittorrent. I have exceptions in my firewall for both u and qb, cannot figure the issue.

I wanted this crappy software to work because it is in the Ninite website heaven knows why But then I reset the interface back to my VPN interface, applied settings, restarted qB and now it works fine.
JayyWalker can you try this build too? Can other users try it too? That build seems to have worked without having to reset the adapter qB was bound to. Though I wonder if it worked now because I fixed it in the current release by doing:. Instead of 2 Ethernet options I now only have one. But, like lerk08 I got it to work by changing the setting to 'Any interface' in the old version too. Oh yes I forgot to mention, when it wasn't working the VPN interface was duplicated in the list like SanderBouwhuis describes.

I suggest, if there is not yet such a thing, to create a debug mode that can be enabled by a setting or a flag in the command line that would start writing a lot of debug info in the logs for example like current state and order of stuff executed and that would really enable people create a more comprehensive image around any issue including the "stalled" issues. I suggest this because this would help you and others, no matter where people post and would enable people with more advanced skills maybe I am there too to understand better what's going on.
Coming back to the issue at hand, I understand is not an issue of weak machine or insufficient network buffers etc. Your comment regarding noticing gradual slowness cleared things for me, I was under the wrong impression that there may be some hardcoded values and I may have hit on any.
I started doing what you suggested but with a twist. Seeing that an identical jail worked with default settings I presumed that its either a setting or a state that's corrupt or who knows a debug mode may have helped here. I started removing settings from the config, first the rss, then connection settings, bittorrent settings and then advanced network settings until at the next restart, the magic happened and instantly 10 torrents started seeding with proper speeds some fast, some slow.
Needless to say I was extremely happy that I got it working and that I found the culprit settings or so I thought. Because I removed a block of like 6 settings from the advanced block, I started adding just the first three and restarted and it was seeding so I concluded that the other three were the guilty ones and just to confirm I added them also and what do you know, seeding continued At that point I realised that it must have been a strange case of network settings with some corrupt state of some resume data and my tweaking got the ball rolling and I couldn't go back and replicate it to pin it and maybe you get to debug it or something All that is left is enjoy yet another day on this earth and thank the torrent reptilian gods for their mercy and divine intervention!
PS: I will let you close this one, since your fine suggestions put me on the right track. Though right now, the debug builds already provide some extra info in stdout. If I don't restart and try to open Qbittorrent again, it starts and creates another process in the process list which actually can be killed. Same behavior is visible for 3. If not, disable it and try again. Also is the HDD internal or external?
